Archt. R.A.D. Ruwan Priyanka, Chartered Architect completed his Architectural Studies at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in Year 2005 and obtained a B.Sc in Built Environment and M.Sc in Architecture. Having gaining his practical experience in both Private Sector and the State Sector and qualifying the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) Professional Practice Examination was admitted as an Associate Member of the SLIA (AIA Sri Lanka) in Year 2007. At the same time, due to his interest in Law he obtained a LL.B from the University of Sri Lanka. Later with his work experience and further studies on Green Buildings, he obtained his Associate Membership of the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka.

His Work Experience that expands over 10 years as a Professional Architect covers many projects ranging from personalized houses to residential apartments including low cost housing, institutional buildings – banks and commercial offices, hotel complexes, educational and health institutions, religious buildings and monuments. In most of these projects he has involved from the initiation to the completion of the project in design, coordination and contract administration.

Some of the key projects recently completed are: 8 storied office building at Colombo 08 for Renuka Holdings, multistoried office building at 05, bank branch offices for Bank of Ceylon at Madurankuliya and Nelliadi Jaffna, 1000 seats wedding hall and dining hall at Manikkapillar Kovil Colombo 04 and memorial monuments of war heroes military in Tangalle and Welisara.

He is also involved with the SLIA and is serving as a Committee Member, Board of Management and Subcommittee Member of the Architects Practice Manual Committee and Disable Access Adhoc Committee
